Right before Christmas in December 2023, I ventured down to Spain to take part in a two day screenprint market with Printworkers Barcelona. The market brought in tens of makers from across Europe.
In true Spanish style, light chit chatter filled the room throughout the two days where only siesta time brought in a short lull in visitors. The organiser kept the fridge full of beers for all the stall holders, and once the weekend came to an end a group of us ventured out for paella and drinks. Incorporating a print market to a trip, and making lots of new print friends, was one of the loveliest ways to explore Barcelona if you ask me!
