Treasures, screenprinted wall hanging 2024

‘Treasures’ is a collective shrine for sentimentality, inspired by a collection of personal riches scattered across my entire warderobe – the things residing in my pockets. Tokens and relics that are not only saved and kept, occasionally rediscovered, but also carried around wherever we go, must be quite precious.

This interactive piece invites the public to share their pocket treasures and write down the stories about them which can in turn be left in the pocket sewn into the wall hanging. ‘Treasures’ has been exhibited as part of Bath Fringe Arts 2024 and Women by Women.2.
